The décor of the interior has been executed in the traditional Florentine style and the rooms are furnished with particular elegance.
This very spacious characteristic apartment has been tastefully refurbished, with great care,so as not to take away any of it’s past 17th century charm and splendor.
The spaciousness of these rooms allow for real privacy, especially for those traveling in larger groups.
A rare find in Florence, to have this large space in the heart of the city; even if the apartment would not be categorized as luxury,it has been very well maintained by the proprietors and offers the visitor all modern amenities without taking anything away from the original charm, like the ornate hand painted frescos,vaulted ceilings and wonderful original wall sculptures and moldings.
The apartment is on the third floor (approx 80 steps, no elevator); it is 200 sqm and consists of an entrance hall, one double bedroom, one twin-bedroom, three bedrooms that can be arranged either as double or twin, three bathrooms (two with shower and one with bathtub), a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living room with TV.

The pictures of the apartment are accurate, but the entire apartment is not as grand as the bedrooms pictured. Getting the keys went easily; our host was in a hurry and told us that everything we needed was in a notebook kept for the guests (it was useful). It is spacious and in a great location; the old building has a lot of charm. We would stay here again without reservation. One recommendation is to upgrade the wireless internet – its range was limited to two rooms.

This apartment is in a very nice area in Florence. It is close to everything. We went to the Mercanto Centrale several times and got food to cook. The kitchen was well stocked with good sized pots and pans and utensils. It is an easy kitchen to work in to cook for a group.Otherwise it was a short walk to some very good places to eat. The owner was very kind and helpful and it was a large and very comfortable apartment for our party of 6. We could have been a party of 8 quite easily as well. She left a book that was helpful both with the apartment and the area. We had a good stay.

The apartment was great and worked out well for 5 people. The location was perfect in the middle of town. We will stay here again next time we are in Florence. The apartment was far above our expectations and worked out great. I hope it will be avaiable for our next visit. A fantastic apartment! We loved our beautiful palazzio. Thomaso and Mariellana were very accomodating. The location was convenient. There is noise outside at night, but I have found that to be the case in any centrally located Florence room. It was a great value for such a large beautiful space.
