Party type: Older Couple     Visiting from: Canada    Review date: March 2014

A special place in our hearts: a lovely place to have spent 5 months. Beautifully laid out, spacious and comfortable with a protected terrace thriving with plants even through the winter; remarkably quiet on the upper floor, with a view over the rooftops to the Janiculum Hill. Our hosts, Cristina & Fabbio have been wonderful, and we were well looked after. The apt. is walking distance to Piazza Navona, the Vatican, the Forum, great restaurants and the endless fascination of Rome. We cooked many meals in the tiny but well stocked kitchen, enjoying a pre dinner drink or a nightcap on the terrace. It's a romantic getaway that makes you feel at home, so much so that it's hard to leave behind! Highly recommended.

Party type: Young Couple     Visiting from: United Kingdom    Review date: August 2013

We were greeted at the airport by a taxi arranged by worldwide accommodation then by the owner of the apartment who welcomed us with prosseco and bread which was a lovely touch. The owner christina was very friendly and stayed with us long enough to answer any questions and explain everything but then left so that we could explore the apartment and relax. The apartment is in an excellent position with the vatican, trevi fountain, spanish steps and the colloseum within walking distance. The outside area is a bonus of the apartment and is lovely to have breakfast out there. The apartment is just as beautiful as the photos look and is very homely whilst being elegant at the same time. The kitchen is small but who wants to cook in Italy?? The fridge keeps drinks super cold and there is plenty of lovely Italian Coffee available. There is a supermarket and bakery very close for breakfast or lunch. If you are staying here I would recommend a restaurant which is very close to the apartment if you come out of the doors turn right then left onto the main street and walk down for around 2 mins Trattoria de luigi is on your left. The food was the best we had in Rome and the staff the friendliest we came across. If we return to Rome we would definitely stay here again.
