Destination Piazza Navona & Pantheon

Why we love Piazza Navona & Pantheon

By day the areas around Piazza Navona & the Pantheon is buzzing with locals going about their daily business and passing through on their way to do their shopping in Campo de’ Fiori as well as tourists visiting one of Rome’s most overwhelmingly magnificent Piazzas. The evenings are lively and exciting with its abundance of outdoor cafes, trattorie and gelaterie and some of Rome’s most exciting bars attracting a slightly older crowd. The streets surrounding Piazza Navona are full of interesting small boutiques, some great vintage stores, antique shops and restaurants and bars.

This apt was more than we hoped for and was exactly as described. John the owner went above and beyond to assist us whenever needed. Best of all the apt is steps away from the Pantheon. A true Roman gem!
Apartment Pantheon Due

The apartment was large, beautifully set out and only a very short distance from the Pantheon. It was roomy, light and airy. The two doors leading into the one bathroom from the bedrooms were a bit of a pain to open and close. The hot water in the shower ran hot only when the bathroom tap was also turned to hot and then it ran at a dribble. The TV did not work. We enjoyed our time here, mostly because of the closeness of the apartment to the Pantheon square, and its centrality to the major sites of Rome. We walked everywhere, except from Roma Termini, with our luggage, and to Leonardo Da Vinci Airport. The apartment is very central.
Apartment Pantheon Grande

What a wonderful apartment, centrally located, artistically and thoughtfully decorated with beautiful high ceilings. Situate in a quiet street with restaurants close by. The owner was friendly and very helpful. We walked to most of the tourist sights and found a surprise and gem around every corner.
