Why we love Apartment Byron

Rome Apartment Byron is one of seven meticulous apartments located in one building, Palazzo Fortuny; a rare and unique find in Rome;centrally located, yet privately and safely tucked away behind secure gates.

This elegant Roman Palazzo is perched on a small hill in a setting of lush greenery with spectacular views of Rome from every window.

It is conveniently bordering Villa Borghese, surrounded by trees offering a tranquil environment, almost like being in the country with no traffic noise, yet ten minutes away from Piazza Del Popolo and the Spanish Steps, where you can indulge in the occasional shopping spree or choose to dine in of the many great restaurants in this area.

This exquisite, bright and large apartment is on the third floor with an elevator.

There are two master bedrooms with two bathrooms which have bath and shower. One of the bedrooms does not have windows.

There’s also a studio apartment within this apartment, which sleeps one person and is located off the second master bedroom.
Please note that this room is only appropriate for an extra person, that is a family member or friend, that is not concerned with privacy.

With our family, it was wonderful to have an apartment. We could relax after a long day of walking and site seeing

The apartment complex is a peaceful haven with interesting views, by day and by night, and with the Borghese Gardens just above - but within a short walk of Piazza del Popolo and other attractions. In Rome's summer, the terrace became the dining room and living room, and is the top ranking feature of the apartment. The main bedroom is light and airy, despite the lack of aircon, but do note from the website description that the second double bedroom has no windows, merely a form of skylight, and that the accommodation for a fifth person is an alcove with a single bed, within the second bedroom suite. The single accommodation has a separate WC but shares the bathroom also, which must be accessed through the adjoining double bedroom. Within those constraints, the apartment is generously sized, light-filled and well located. Some minor repair issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently on site - and management also responded very promptly and constructively to communications with the agency.
