Why we love Apartment Ottaviano I

A wonderful accommodation choice for the budget traveller, Apartment Ottaviano I offers all the modern comforts to make your stay in Rome a perfect one.

Apartment Ottaviano is situated in the Vatican area and is well-connected to public transport. The area is relatively quiet in comparison to the Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori areas for example and therefore makes for a great home base from which to explore Rome. Both the Vatican and Saint Peter’s Basilica are a 300 meter walk from the apartment.

Metro line A is right next door (a 2-minute walk from the apartment) and getting to the main attractions, such as the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain couldn’t be easier.

The apartment is composed of a fully equipped kitchen and dining/living area, a bathroom with shower and bath, and a loft area where there is a comfortable queen-size bed sleeping two guests.

The Vatican area hosts several typical, authentic Roman restaurants, as well as supermarkets and speciality shops should you prefer to cook at home. ‘Castroni’ is a local favourite, located on Via Cola di Rienzo.

The friendly owners of this apartment are multilingual and are willing to help you in any way they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

There is a larger apartment right next door on the same floor Apartment Ottaviano I and together with Apartment Ottaviano II, the apartments can accommodate up to eight people. Perfect for a large group traveling together wanting to be close to the Vatican area.

It was wonderful arriving at our condo after a long day of travel and find it to be so inviting, comfortable and pleasant. Everything was spotless and convenient. A very nice place.

The apartment is in a great location - close to a Metro stop and main bus lines. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious, especially for the center of the city. It was well-furnished with amenities not advertised (hair dryer, air conditioning, wi-fi).
